Do children need their own lounge access pass?

Created by Daniel James Kinnoch, Modified on Thu, 12 Dec at 2:40 PM by Daniel James Kinnoch

When purchasing airport lounge access through LoungePair, child access policies vary by lounge:

  • Children under 2 years old generally do not need a pass, as they are not considered seated passengers
  • For children aged 2 and above, most lounges require a separate pass
  • Some lounges have more generous age policies for children's free access
  • Specific age policies are listed on individual lounge pages where available

Examples

If you are traveling as a group with:

  • One adult and a 1-year-old: You need one adult pass only
  • One adult and children aged 3 and 7: You need three passes (one for each person aged 2 or older)
  • Two adults and children aged 1 and 4: You need three passes (two adults plus one child aged 4)

Important Notes

  • Always check the specific lounge's child policy on our lounge listing page
  • When in doubt about a specific lounge's policy, please contact us at [email protected]
  • Accurate guest counting is essential to ensure smooth lounge access
  • Failure to have the correct number of passes may result in denied access
